Garret is originally from Detroit, Michigan. He
moved to Los Angeles, California in 2004 and
began a career working in some of the best salons
in Beverly Hills. In September 2011 he moved
cross-country again, to Chicago, Illinois. Currently
Garret is dividing his time working in both Chicago
and Beverly Hills, CA.
Garret has been working in the beauty industry
since 2001 and has been educated by brands such
as Wella, TIGI, American Crew, L'Oreal, Mizani,
Great Lengths, Redken and GK.
Garret was certified as a Master Haircolorist
through Wella in June 2005, and as a Great Lengths
Hair Extension Artist in 2006. He has also been
certified by Rusk to perform Thermal Str8, a
permanent hair straightening service, and with the
Mizani Rhelaxer System.
